You: What the heck am I signing myself up for?!

Us: All’a this!

All of our classes are designed to be accessible to all levels of practice. No one should feel like they can’t keep up, or like they don’t know what’s going on. Our instructors will use clear, approachable cues, expert assists, and take the time to make sure every student feels safe and supported in every 👏🏼 single 👏🏼 class 👏🏼.

Morning & Evening Flow:

Your go-to for Vinyasa flows. Link breath to movement to build a little heat, stretch those hammies, and enjoy a more dynamic, energetically paced class.

Yoga Snacks:

Problem: a standard 60-minute lunch break isn’t long enough to travel to the studio, take a class, get home, change clothes, and get back to the office without HR breathing down your neck.

Solution: Yoga Snacks! A 30-minute lunch time class where you can pop in, stretch it out, and get home with more than enough time to spare! You’re welcome, HR.

Coming August 2026!

Yoga & Chill:

Come for the yoga, stay for the community. These look like a 2 hours class, but actually there’s an extra hour built in so you can just…chill. We’ll have a good ol’ fashioned 60-minute Vinyasa flow, but then afterwards we’ll take some time for connection and community. Enjoy an extra long shavasana, keep practicing your Bird of Paradise, sip some tea, chit chat with your friends, whatever you want! The point is, there’s no need to roll up that mat and rush out the door as soon as class ends. Give yourself the gift of a little more time.

Happy hour Vinyasa:

Looking to fill that post-work, pre-weekend gap? Happy Hour Vinyasa is for you! This Friday evening offering is always sliding scale — suggested $18, but pay what you can — making it a great entry point for the Yoga Curious friend who said “I’ll got to yoga with you, if you go to drinks with me afterwards" that one time.

Sunday Sleep In:

Trust us, this is the move: sleep in a little bit longer on Sunday mornings, go put your name on the waitlist at Jam next door, and then pop in for our Sunday Sleep In Vinyasa to work up an appetite.

Community Class:

Pay what you can, get some yoga in, maybe make a friend. What’s not to love? These classes are truly designed with the community in mind. Always price-accessible (cause we get it, it’s tough out there right now), and always a lighter vibe to encourage connection and fun!

Open studio:

Leave your cat at home, but bring your home practice out into the real world during our Open Studio hours. Every Monday/Wednesday/Friday we set aside 4 hours of Open Studio time where you can come practice whatever you want! There will always be a teacher around, in case questions come up, but this isn’t a guided class. Thinks Mysore, but…not exactly. Our only two requests: Sign up ahead of time so we know you’re coming, and please leave your phone in your bag (this ain’t content filming time).

Yoga Nidra & Meditation:

There’s more to yoga than just asana (postures). It’s more than stretching, more than a work out. Heck, that’s why we called it Eight Limbs! In fact, the stuff we do in a modern, western yoga class isn’t even the first thing on the list (it’s the third!). Start exploring those other limbs through regular Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep, and guided meditations. Your brain will thank you. Your significant other will thank you. Your nervous system will thank you.

Groups:

We get it: yoga can be intimidating. Maybe it's your first time, or maybe there’s something about you that makes your life experience different and a typical yoga class just feels…scary. First of all, we just want to tell you that that’s fine. It’s ok to be scared sometimes. Through fear and discomfort we find growth, we find the true yoga.

But still, you might feel a little more comfortable stepping into the studio if you can be around other people who make you feel safe and seen. For those times, we offer affinity groups. Yoga for Beginners, Yoga for Stiff Bodies, Women’s Group, Men’s Group, LGBTQ+, Differently Abled Bodies…whoever you are, whatever path brought you here, you belong and we have a space for you.

Workshops:

Dive in and nerd out. Deepen your practice through workshops and intensives led by experienced instructors from near and far. Expect topics to range from Handstands to Yoga Therapy. We’ll introduce different techniques, lineages, and modalities so we can bring all the aspects and expressions of yoga to Portland.

Non-Yoga & Yoga Adjacent Things:

Hey, it’s gonna be a beautiful space and you’re gonna want to hang out here. It’s designed to be an “arrive early/stay late” kind of experience and you should feel like you can linger, connect, and build community. We’ll offer more than just your typical yoga class and at Eight Limbs, you can expect everything from book clubs to dharma talks, lectures to…needle point! Who knows, the sky’s the limit! We’ll engage with our community, both inside the studio and outside of it, and we want this place to feel as dynamic and alive as the rest of Portland. These days we hear a lot about loneliness epidemics and polarization. Well, this is the antidote to that. Come here, connect, engage, breathe.
